Bournemouth sink 10-man Milan 3-0 as Celtic fall to Celta in Europa League
Bournemouth beat AC Milan 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night after Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was sent off. Elsewhere, Celtic lost at home to Celta Vigo and Sunderland and Crystal Palace both drew away.

Maignan's moment
Bournemouth went ahead from the spot after VAR found that Koni De Winter had deflected Evanilson's header with his arm, the Guardian reported. Kluivert converted the penalty.
Then Maignan, Milan's captain, pushed Adams in the face at a corner and was sent off. The referee also gave a second penalty, and Tavernier scored it past the replacement goalkeeper, Lorenzo Torriani.
Adli completed the win with a curling free-kick in the 84th minute.
We just suffocated them, we didn't give anything to them.
Milan coach Ruben Amorim called it "a difficult night in every aspect". The Guardian noted his Manchester United side had also lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in December 2024.

Celtic undone in minutes
At Celtic Park, Germany midfielder Mika Baur gave the home side the lead just over a minute into the second half. Spain defender Javi Rodríguez then scored twice in three minutes, a header and then a drive, the Guardian reported.
Celtic's ultras group, the Green Brigade, boycotted the game in protest at the running of the club.
