Bayern v Arsenal: Kane aims to score in a 10th straight Champions League game
Bayern Munich host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night (21:00 CEST, 19:00 UTC, 2pm CT) in the pick of the Champions League's Matchday 3 games. BBC Sport called it the fixture that, but for Bayern's semi-final defeat by PSG, would have been last season's final.
Bayern's home record meets Arsenal's streak
Bayern are unbeaten in 39 home group or league-phase matches (37 wins, two draws) since losing 3–2 to Manchester City in December 2013, BBC Sport said. They have scored in 23 straight European games.
They have also been leaky. Bayern have kept three clean sheets in ten games this season and drew with Viking last week after conceding three. Coach Vincent Kompany blamed individual mistakes.
Arsenal have won both their league-phase games so far without conceding, according to Opta.
Kane's run
Kane has nine goals for Bayern this season and 15 for club and country, BBC Sport said. He is a leading contender for Monday's Ballon d'Or, and a new contract to 2029 was reported last week to be agreed in principle.
He drew a blank in Arsenal's 3–1 win at the Emirates last November.

Team news and the numbers
Winger Michael Olise is suspended, with Serge Gnabry or Lennart Karl in line to replace him. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer missed the weekend with a foot injury, and defender Kim Min-jae may need to be assessed.
